Product Overview: Attach New Documents

Users with appropriate access are also able to select existing document files such as Word, Excel, PDF or scanned images from their file system and import them into ImageNet.

The documents are automatically indexed as they are imported with the relevant field values from the Great Plains invoice:

  • Vendor Id
  • Vendor Name
  • Document Number (invoice number)
  • PO Number
  • Document Date (invoice date)
  • Amount

To import a new file, the user simply selects the desired document type, optionally selects an ImageNet workflow process to route the document through and browses to the desired file from the file system.
