Product Overview: Flexible Document Indexing and Routing

ImageNet Scan provides the operator with three ways to index scanned documents:

  • Enter the desired field values before saving the document to the desired archive on the ImageNet server.
  • Route the document to a data entry queue within the ImageNet server by selecting an appropriate workflow process. This option allows another ImageNet user to perform the indexing process at a later time.
  • Enter the desired field values, then save the document to an ImageNet workflow process for verification. This hybrid approach enables a second user to validate the accuracy of the scan operator's data entry.

Using the tabbed dialog, scan operators can easily navigate between the document's thumbnails or the indexing screen.
