Product Overview: Index and Image Storage

ImageNet uses MS SQL Server 2000. Images can be physically stored within the database (as Binary Large Objects), on a network file system including SAN, NAS, or optical storage systems.

Although nearly any type of content file may be stored in ImageNet, typically used document and image file formats are: TIF, PDF, JPG, GIF, DOC, XLS, XML and HTML.
