Product Overview: Remote Document Capture via FlexPort

The FlexPort system uses an XML and HTTP-based architecture (SOAP) to provide distributed document capture systems real-time integration with ImageNet across the Internet or your organization's intranet.

FlexPort integrates easily with industry leading production data and document capture applications such as Verity's TeleForm™, Ascent Capture™ from Kofax Image Products, and ImageNet Scan.

ImageNet Scan is ideal for organizations with ad-hoc and/or distributed scanning requirements, and provides an ideal capture solution for users that prefer to scan, index and save their images all at once.

The FlexPort architecture provides the following important features:

• Enables remote capture sites to operate as if they were on the same local network as the ImageNet server.
• Easy installation, configuration and maintenance of remote capture stations (Low Cost of Ownership).
